Cobra 750 Members & Boats

Cobra 750
Length OA 25’0”
Length WL 19’9”
Draught 3’6” or 4’3” (FIN)
Displacement 5,800 lbs

The Cobra 750. From 1977, is a modern-looking yacht, the large beam giving very spacious accommodation for her length of 25 ft. Five berths in two cabins, Enclosed heads and a headroom of around 5' 9" excuding Vee Berth. Most Cobra 750s built were twin-keelers, although fin keel versions were also produced. The bilge keels were well designed, and provide good windward performance. The hulls were moulded by Cobramold, and fitted out by Cobra Yachts of Hayling Island. A substantial number of bare hulls were also sold, plus kits for home completion, so standards of finish (and interior layout on occasion) may vary considerably. Many by now been upgraded. Excellent value for money. Around 500 were built

Cobra 750 Yacht - Jennifer Dawn

'Jennifer Dawn' This is a recent picture of my Cobra 750 as the windows went in, As far as we can tell she is about 20 years old but like new. Currently working on the rear locker bulkheads and internal strengthening. A Beta 13hp recently was purchased at the boat show and we shall be carrying out the engine and prop shaft installation next.
Glen & Pauline Brooks,
Somwhere very rural, Hopefully not to far from the essential services?
